Appointment  times range from 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday --  Friday.

AIDS/HIV - testing and counseling

Child Health - check-ups, hearing/vision/dental screenings for school admission.

Chronic Disease - screening for breast and cervical cancer, high blood pressure and diabetes.

Communicable Disease Control - diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of tuberculosis and other communicable diseases.

Family Planning - education and birth control for sexually active teenagers and adults.

Health Education -  for students and community organizations.

Immunizations - for all age groups.

Nutrition/Diet Counseling - by a registered dietician.

Perinatal Services - home visits and support.

Refugee Services - screening for communicable diseases, immunizations, referrals, etc.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases - screening, diagnosis and treatment.

Teen Health - exams, family planning counseling and referral services.

WIC Program - nutrition education and supplemental food for pregnant and nursing women, infants and children ages 1-5 .

Laboratory Services - includes newborn metabolic screening ("PKU") and more. Call for details.

Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) - Available to low-income women.  Offers free or low-cost screening for breast and cervical cancer. Includes clinical breast exam, pap smear, and referral for mammograms for women over 40.


It is the policy of the Division of Public Health not to deny physical health services to any person on the basis of his/her inability to pay. Fees for some services are based on a sliding scale according to family size and income.

We are unable to accept private insurance coverage. Please call for information on fees.
